# Unread notification count for the signed-in person

`GET /api/v1/account/notifications/summary`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dotsy.ai`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Aggregates unread items from up to ten workspace feeds (active workspace first). Dashboard session only — API keys receive 403. When notifications are disabled, returns zero without touching the feed.

## Response `200`

Unread count.

- NotificationsSummary
  - `unread` integer, required: Unread items across the member's first ten workspaces.

## Other responses

- `403`: `session_required`: sign in as a person. API keys cannot read notifications.
