# Resolve a required action

`POST /v1/partner/companies/{companyId}/required-actions/{requiredActionId}/resolution`

## Request

Submit what doola asked for. Name options move to `submitted` while doola refiles with the state. A founder address resolves the action at once, and the formation continues. You will receive further webhooks if anything else is needed. Actions resolved by another flow, such as an SS4 re-signature, are not accepted here.

- SubmitRequiredActionResolutionRequest: Resolution payload for a required action
  - `actionCode` 'FORMATION_NAME_OPTIONS_EXHAUSTED' | 'FORMATION_FOUNDER_ADDRESS_REQUIRED' | 'ANNUAL_REPORT_ADDRESS_NOT_ACCEPTED' | 'ANNUAL_REPORT_SHARE_VALUE_TOO_HIGH', required: The code of the required action being resolved
  - `nameOptions` PartnerCompanyNameOptionDto[]: Replacement company names, in preference order, one to three entries. Required when actionCode is FORMATION_NAME_OPTIONS_EXHAUSTED.
    - `id` string: Server-assigned ID.
    - `name` string, required: Proposed company name, without the entity ending.
    - `entityTypeEnding` string, required: Entity-type ending appended to the name.
    - `position` integer: Preference order, lowest first. Ignored on create, where array order sets the preference and responses return it starting at 0. On a name-options resolution, options are ordered by this value, or by array order when it is omitted.
  - `addresses` PartnerCompanyAddressDto[]: The founder's own US address, as exactly one `business` and one `mailing` entry, both with `provider: customer` and `country: USA` (exactly that value). Required when actionCode is FORMATION_FOUNDER_ADDRESS_REQUIRED.
    - `provider` 'customer' | 'registeredAgent', required: Who provides this address. Use `customer` to supply the address yourself in the `address` field. Use `registeredAgent` to have doola fill in its Registered Agent address for the company's state; leave `address` out, as it is not used for a registered-agent entry.
    - `type` 'mailing' | 'business', required: Which address this is. Send exactly one `mailing` entry and one `business` entry.
    - `address` PartnerAddressDto: A postal address.
      - `id` string: Server-assigned ID.
      - `line1` string, required: Street address line 1.
      - `line2` string: Street address line 2.
      - `city` string, required: City.
      - `state` string, required: State or province.
      - `postalCode` string, required: Postal or ZIP code.
      - `country` string, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code (e.g. USA).
      - `phone` string: Phone number in E.164 format. Required for a person's address (the responsible party, a member, or an executive member); optional for a company `mailing` or `business` address.
  - `companyDetails` PartnerAnnualReportCompanyDetailsDto: Corrections to the company details doola already holds.
    - `companyName` string, nullable: Company name as it should appear on the report.
    - `address` PartnerAddressDto: A postal address.
      - `id` string: Server-assigned ID.
      - `line1` string, required: Street address line 1.
      - `line2` string: Street address line 2.
      - `city` string, required: City.
      - `state` string, required: State or province.
      - `postalCode` string, required: Postal or ZIP code.
      - `country` string, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code (e.g. USA).

      - `country` string, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code (e.g. USA).

    - `phoneNumber` string, nullable: Phone number. Required for a Delaware C-corp, which doola does not hold one for.
    - `authorizedShares` number, nullable: Authorized shares. A whole number.
    - `issuedShares` number, nullable: Issued shares. A whole number.
    - `perValuedShares` number, nullable: Par value per share, in USD.
