# Update webhook

`PATCH /api/webhooks/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://domani.run`
- URL: `https://domani.run/api/webhooks/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update a webhook's URL, subscribed events, active status, or encrypted auth headers. Send only the fields you want to change. A mailbox-confined token reaches only the webhooks confined to its own mailboxes (404 otherwise).

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `url` string, uri: New HTTPS URL
  - `events` string[]: New list of event types
  - `active` boolean: Set false to pause, true to resume
  - `headers` object: Replace encrypted auth headers; send {} to clear. Only Authorization and X-API-Key are accepted.

  - `header_names` string[]: Configured auth header names; values are never returned

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Webhook not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - wait and retry
