# Update account preferences

`PUT /api/me`

## Request

Update the authenticated user's preferred payment method and/or BCP 47 locale. API responses remain structured and are not translated.

## Request body

- object
  - `preferred_payment_method` 'card' | 'usdc', nullable: Default payment method for purchases (card, usdc, or null for auto-select)
  - `preferred_locale` 'en' | 'fr' | 'es' | 'pt-BR' | 'ja' | 'zh-Hans' | 'it': Locale used by Domani interfaces and transactional communications
