# Forward a message

`POST /api/emails/{address}/messages/{id}/forward`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://domani.run`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Forward a message from a mailbox identified by its full email address to another recipient. Forwarding authentication mail (OTP, password reset, magic link) requires the `email:auth_secrets` scope - it would exfiltrate the secret.

  - `text` string: Optional note to prepend

## Other responses

- `403`: Forwarding auth mail requires the email:auth_secrets scope (INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE)
- `404`: Mailbox or message not found
