# Disconnect a connected mailbox

`DELETE /api/emails/{address}/connector`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://domani.run`
- URL: `https://domani.run/api/emails/{address}/connector`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the person's own copies (messages, attachments, search rows, pending jobs) and the credential; keeps the mailbox row, the link marked disconnected, and what agents did (receipts). Only a connected mailbox can be disconnected. Requires `email:write`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: No connected mailbox at this address
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - wait and retry
