# Watch a domain for transfer eligibility

`POST /api/domains/transfer-watch`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://domani.run`
- URL: `https://domani.run/api/domains/transfer-watch`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Watch a domain and get notified (email + transfer.eligible webhook) when it becomes eligible for transfer. Uses RDAP to check EPP status codes and ICANN 60-day lock windows. If already eligible, returns immediately without creating a watch.

  - `domain` string, required: Domain to watch, e.g. mysite.com

## Response `200`

Watch result

- object
  - `domain` string, required
  - `eligible` boolean, required: Whether the domain is currently eligible for transfer
  - `eligible_at` string, date: ISO date when domain becomes eligible (if not yet eligible)
  - `hint` string: Actionable guidance
  - `watching` boolean, required: Whether a notification has been set up

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - wait and retry
