# Delete a standing delegation

`DELETE /api/assistant/rules/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://domani.run`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the rule; the items it handed over come back to the owner, the receipts of what the assignee did stay. Requires `assistant:write`; an agent token is refused.

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: No such rule
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - wait and retry
