# Validate API Key

`POST /siebatchd/v1/validate`

Validates a provided API Key and returns profile and provisioning information associated with it.

## Request body

- ApiKeyOnly
  - `apikey` string, password, required: Your Farsight SIE Batch API Key (UUID format)

## Response `200`

API key is valid. Returns profile and provisioning info.

    - `over_quota_action` string
    - `channels` object
    - `not_really` boolean
    - `siebatch` object: SIE batch channels the key has access to, keyed by channel ID (e.g. "ch212").

  - `_status` 'OK'
  - `_message` string

## Other responses

- `403`: Client error (authentication or validation failure)
- `500`: Server error
