# Mark inbox items as read

`POST /inbox/read`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.domainlab.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.domainlab.app/api/v1/inbox/read`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Request body

- object: Provide exactly one of ids or all.
  - `ids` integer[]
  - `all` true: Mark every unread item read

## Response `200`

Number of items newly marked read

- object
  - `marked` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: INVALID_BODY or INVALID_IDS
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Account lacks API access (no active subscription or trial)
- `429`: Rate limit or monthly quota exceeded. Respect the Retry-After header. code is RATE_LIMITED (short-lived) or MONTHLY_QUOTA_EXCEEDED (resets next period).
- `503`: The assistant inbox is not set up yet.
