# Stop a restream

`POST /restreams/{id}/stop`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.theo.live/v2`
- URL: `https://api.theo.live/v2/restreams/{id}/stop`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Stops pushing to the target; the restream status becomes `stopped`. Returns 409 `already_stopped` when the restream is already stopped.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Restream ID

## Response `204`

Restream stopped
