# Retrieve an invoice

`GET /billing/v1/invoices/{id}`

Returns the full details of an invoice specified by the invoice number.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK - Invoice details returned.

  - `id` string — Invoice number, identifying the invoice.
  - `invoiceDate` integer — The time when this invoice was issued, in milliseconds since the epoch.
  - `platform` 'google-cloud' | 'amazon-web-services' | 'microsoft-azure' | 'g-suite' | 'office-365' | 'superquery' | 'looker' | 'navigator' | 'solve' — Platform identifier for invoice source.
  - `dueDate` integer — The last day to pay the invoice, in milliseconds since the epoch
  - `status` 'OPEN' | 'PAST DUE' | 'PAID' — Status of the invoice
  - `totalAmount` number, double — Total invoiced amount
  - `balanceAmount` number, double — Invoice balance to be paid
  - `currency` 'USD' | 'ILS' | 'EUR' | 'AUD' | 'CAD' | 'GBP' | 'DKK' | 'NOK' | 'SEK' | 'BRL' | 'SGD' | 'MXN' | 'CHF' | 'MYR' | 'TWD' | 'EGP' | 'ZAR' | 'JPY' | 'IDR' | 'AED' | 'THB' | 'COP' — Currency code for monetary values.
  - `url` string — Link to [invoice details page](https://help.doit.com/docs/billing/invoices-and-payments/managing-invoices) in the DoiT console. You can download the PDF invoice from the invoice details page.
  - `lineItems` ListItem[] — Invoice line items.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The server cannot process the request, often due to a malformed request.
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid API key.
- `403` — Forbidden - The client is not authorized to perform the request.
- `404` — Not Found - The requested resource does not exist.
