# Sync Phone Numbers

`POST /api/v1/organizations/telephony-configs/{config_id}/phone-numbers/sync`

Import the provider account's numbers onto this configuration.

Adds rows for numbers the account holds and refreshes the ones already
here. Nothing is removed: numbers the provider no longer lists come back
as ``missing_at_provider`` for the operator to act on.

- PhoneNumberSyncResponse: Outcome of importing the provider account's numbers into a configuration. Rows are only ever added or refreshed. A number the provider no longer reports is listed under ``missing_at_provider`` for the operator to act on; the sync never deactivates or deletes it, because a transient listing gap must not silence a live number.
