# Delete a patient

`DELETE /api/patients/{patientId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dododentist.com`
- URL: `https://api.dododentist.com/api/patients/{patientId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Requires the `patients:write` scope. Fires the `patient.deleted` webhook.
