# Get a payment by id

`GET /api/payments/{paymentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.doctofam.com`
- URL: `https://api.doctofam.com/api/payments/{paymentId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Returns a single payment owned by your clinic. Requires the `payments:read` scope. Answers 404 for a payment in another organization so ids cannot be probed.

## Path parameters

- `paymentId` string, required

## Response `200`

The payment

## Other responses

- `403`: API key is missing the `payments:read` scope
- `404`: No such payment in your organization
