# Create an invoice

`POST /api/invoices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.doctofam.com`
- URL: `https://api.doctofam.com/api/invoices`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Creates an invoice in your clinic and emits `invoice.created` to your webhook subscriptions. Requires the `invoices:write` scope.

## Response `200`

The created invoice

## Other responses

- `403`: API key is missing the `invoices:write` scope
