# Create an appointment

`POST /api/appointments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.doctofam.com`
- URL: `https://api.doctofam.com/api/appointments`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Creates an appointment in your clinic and emits `appointment.created` to your webhook subscriptions. Requires the `appointments:write` scope.

## Response `200`

The created appointment

## Other responses

- `403`: API key is missing the `appointments:write` scope
