# Follow or resume a document's events (SSE). See the events guide.

`GET /documents/{document_id}/events`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

## Path parameters

- `document_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `after` integer

## Headers

- `Last-Event-ID` string

## Response `200`

text/event-stream; each `data:` is a DocumentEvent.

## Other responses

- `401`: unauthorized (missing, unknown or revoked key; expired session).
- `404`: not_found
- `410`: events_expired (kept 7 days) or content_deleted (its retention ended).
