# Delete a document

`DELETE /documents/{document_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.eu.doconda.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.eu.doconda.com/v1/documents/{document_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes a document's files, report and events and, for an artifact, its page and data.

## Path parameters

- `document_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Deleted. What it cost stays in your usage.

## Other responses

- `401`: unauthorized (missing, unknown or revoked key; expired session).
- `404`: Not found.
- `409`: document_not_finished: it is still being made; cancel it first.
