# Create transfer

`POST /v2/transfers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://marketplace-api.dlocal.com`
- URL: `https://marketplace-api.dlocal.com/v2/transfers`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Date` and API key in header `X-Login` and API key in header `X-Trans-Key` and API key in header `X-Version` and API key in header `User-Agent` and API key in header `Authorization`

This service can be used to request an instant or scheduled transfer to an account.

## Request body

- union
  - InstantTransfer
    - `origin` string, required: Origin account ID.
    - `destination` string, required: Destination account ID.
    - `amount` number, required: Transfer amount to be sent to destination.
    - `currency` string: Currency of the transfer amount. Three-letter ISO-4217 currency code, in uppercase.<br>If no currency is specified, it will automatically use the currency of the origin account.
    - `external_id` string, required: ID given by the merchant in their system.
    - `notification_url` string, required: URL where dLocal will send notifications associated with the transfer.
    - `description` string, required: Transfer description.
  - ScheduledTransfer
    - `origin` string, required: Origin account ID.
    - `destination` string, required: Destination account ID.
    - `amount` number, required: Transfer amount to be sent to destination.
    - `currency` string: Currency of the transfer amount. Three-letter ISO-4217 currency code, in uppercase.<br>If no currency is specified, it will automatically use the currency of the origin account.
    - `external_id` string, required: ID given by the merchant in their system.
    - `release_date` string, date-time, required: Release date when the transfer will be executed. ISO-8601 - Notification’s timestamp (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss.SSSSZ).
    - `notification_url` string, required: URL where dLocal will send notifications associated with the transfer.
    - `description` string, required: Transfer description.
