# Get documents

`GET /verifications/{verification-id}/documents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dlocal.com/kyc`
- URL: `https://api.dlocal.com/kyc/verifications/{verification-id}/documents`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Date` and API key in header `X-Login` and API key in header `X-Trans-Key` and API key in header `Authorization`

Returns the documentation required for the verification. Requirements may differ per verification.

The service may return **more than one list item with the same document `name`** (e.g. multiple `SOURCE_OF_FUNDS_DECLARATION` entries). Each entry has its own `id` and `status`; all required items must be completed and approved as applicable.

Documents must be submitted and validated by dLocal before the verification can be approved and related holds (e.g. payouts) released.

Successful response

- PaginatedDocuments: Paginated list of document requirements / uploads.
  - `items` VerificationDocument[]: Response objects contained in the result page.
    - `id` string: dLocal document verification ID.
    - `type` string: Document type. [See details](https://docs.dlocal.com/reference/document-information#document-type).
    - `name` string: Document name. [See details](https://docs.dlocal.com/reference/document-information#document-names).
    - `reference_name` string: Reference name given by the merchant in their system.
    - `value` string: Value of the document for documents of type `FIELD`.
    - `status` string: Document status. [See details](https://docs.dlocal.com/reference/document-information#document-status).
    - `status_detail` string: Document status detail. [See details](https://docs.dlocal.com/reference/document-information#document-status-details).
  - `current_page` integer: Current result page.
  - `total_pages` integer: Total result pages.
  - `page_size` integer: Number of results per page.
  - `total` integer: Total number of results to paginate.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized — invalid credentials
- `403`: Forbidden — authentication failed or unauthorized access
- `404`: Verification not found
- `500`: Internal server error
