# Poll a render

`GET /v1/reader/renders/{renderId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ditto.audio` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.ditto.audio/v1/reader/renders/{renderId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

`status` is one of `planning`, `queued`, `rendering`, `completed`, `canceled`; `progress.percent` counts finished segments. A render can sit at `queued` behind your other books, or because no render node is online yet — it resumes by itself when one appears, and no work is lost.

## Path parameters

- `renderId` string, required

## Other responses

- `404`: No such render.
