# Delete an audiobook

`DELETE /v1/reader/audiobooks/{audiobookId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ditto.audio` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.ditto.audio/v1/reader/audiobooks/{audiobookId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the audiobook and its stored source file from your library on every device. Narration segments already rendered are NOT deleted here — they are content-addressed and may be shared; they expire on their own.

- `audiobookId` string, required

## Response `204`

Deleted.

- `404`: Already gone, or never yours.
