# Update a brand

`PATCH /v1/workspaces/{brandId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dispatchtickets.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

## Path parameters

- `brandId` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateBrandDto
  - `name` string
  - `slug` string: URL-safe identifier
  - `metadata` object
  - `ticketSchema` object
  - `ticketPrefix` string: Prefix for public ticket IDs (e.g., "AC" -> "AC-1001"). Defaults to brand initials.
  - `ticketNumberStart` number: Starting number for tickets (default: 1000)
  - `url` string: Brand website URL
  - `iconUrl` string: Brand icon/favicon URL
  - `fromName` string: Sender name for outbound emails
  - `fromEmail` string: Sender email for outbound emails (requires Resend domain verification)
  - `autoresponseEnabled` boolean: Enable autoresponse emails when new tickets are created
  - `autoresponseSubject` string: Subject line for autoresponse. Supports {{ticketNumber}}, {{ticketTitle}} placeholders.
  - `autoresponseBody` string: HTML body for autoresponse. Supports {{ticketNumber}}, {{ticketTitle}}, {{customerName}} placeholders.
  - `slaEnabled` boolean: Enable SLA for this brand
  - `slaDefaultHours` number: Default SLA in hours (e.g., 72 = 3 days)
  - `slaByPriority` object: SLA hours per priority level
  - `slaNotifyOverdue` boolean: Send notifications when tickets are overdue
  - `slaBusinessHoursOnly` boolean: Only count business hours toward SLA deadlines
  - `slaBusinessHours` object: Business hours config (days: 0=Sun, 6=Sat)
  - `portalOrigins` string[]: Allowed origins for portal API CORS. Empty array = block all cross-origin requests.
  - `chatEnabled` boolean: Allow the chat widget to open conversations for this brand
  - `chatAllowedOrigins` string[]: Sites allowed to embed the chat widget. Empty array = none.
