# Create a new custom status

`POST /v1/brands/{brandId}/statuses`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dispatchtickets.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- `brandId` string, required

- CreateStatusDto
  - `name` string, required: Display name for the status
  - `key` string, required: Unique key (lowercase, alphanumeric + underscore)
  - `color` string: Hex color for badge
  - `description` string: Optional description

## Response `201`

Status created

## Other responses

- `409`: Status with key already exists
