# Delete VPC NAT Gateway

`DELETE /v2/vpc_nat_gateways/{id}`

To destroy a VPC NAT Gateway, send a DELETE request to the `/v2/vpc_nat_gateways/$VPC_NAT_GATEWAY_ID` endpoint.

A successful response will include a 202 response code and no content.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `202`

The action was successful and the response body is empty.

## Other responses

- `401` — Authentication failed due to invalid credentials.
- `404` — The resource was not found.
- `429` — The API rate limit has been exceeded.
- `500` — There was a server error.
- `default` — There was an unexpected error.
