# Send credential OTP

`POST /csc/v1/credentials/sendOTP`

## Request

  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials

    - Token URL: `/imauth/oauth2/token` scopes: `service`

Use this endpoint to generate and send an OTP (one-time password) associated with the given credential ID and managed by the remote signing service.

`credentialID` is required in the request body.

## Request body

- SendOtpRequest
  - `clientData` string: Arbitrary data from the Signature Application. It can be used to handle a transaction identifier or other application-specific data.
  - `credentialID` string, required: The identifier associated to the credential.

## Response `200`

OTP sent.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `500`: Internal Server Error
