# Add allowed IP address

`POST /api/v1/sipaccounts/{sipaccount_id}/allowed_ips`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.didlogic.com`
- URL: `https://app.didlogic.com/api/v1/sipaccounts/{sipaccount_id}/allowed_ips`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Add IP address to SIP account whitelist.

## Path parameters

- `sipaccount_id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `ip` string, required: Single IPv4 address in dotted-decimal form; a range (CIDR) is rejected

## Response `200`

Successfully adds IP to whitelist

- object
  - `allowed_ips` string[], required: List of allowed IP addresses after creation

## Other responses

- `403`: Returns 403 error when API token is incorrect
- `404`: Returns the 404 error envelope when neither the SIP account name nor id matches an account you own
- `422`: Returns 422 error when IP address format is invalid
