# Meeting Room -- Create

`POST /api/v2/meetings/room`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dialpad.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a meeting room (personal or unique meeting).

Requires scope: ``conference:all``

Rate limit: 1200 per minute.

## Query parameters

- `meeting_id` string
- `meeting_type` string
- `user_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

A successful response

- ProtosUberconferenceUniquemeetingRoomCreationProto
  - `display_number` string, nullable: The phone number to dial into the meeting. None when the user has no PSTN access number.
  - `meeting_type` string, required: The type of meeting (e.g., personal, unique).
  - `organizer_pin` string, nullable: The PIN code for the meeting organizer. None when PIN is not required or no PSTN addon.
  - `participant_pin` string, nullable: The PIN code for meeting participants. None when PIN is not required or no PSTN addon.
  - `unique_meeting_id` string, nullable: The unique meeting identifier, if applicable.
  - `url` string, required: The URL to join the meeting room.
  - `user_id` string, required: The ID of the user who created the room.
