# Set Workspace As Default

`POST /api/workspaces/{workspace_id}/set-as-default`

Set this workspace as the user's login default (per-user, durable).

Distinct from `/switch` (per-session, transient): this endpoint changes
where future logins on brand-new browsers/devices land. Existing
sessions are unaffected — their `refresh_tokens.active_workspace_id`
is not touched.

Hard-blocked during impersonation (an admin should not change the
impersonated user's login default).

Returns 204. No token rotation needed (only affects future logins).
