# Create Child Workspace

`POST /api/v1/workspaces`

## Request

Create a customer workspace. Returns 201 if new, 200 if external_id already existed.

Nesting is one level: the customer workspace is created against the caller's own workspace,
and a header cannot be used to create a second-level child.
Requires Idempotency-Key header for retry safety.

- CreateWorkspaceRequest: Request to create a customer workspace.
  - `name` string, required: Display name for the workspace
  - `external_id` string, nullable: Idempotency key from the partner's system
