# Search Messages

`GET /api/messages/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.dialogbrain.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Search messages across all threads with pagination.

Used for "Load more" functionality in message search results, and — with
`thread_id` — for searching inside one open conversation, newest first.
Uses workspace-aware database routing (Supabase or shared DB).

## Query parameters

- `participant_name` string, nullable: Participant name to filter by
- `email` string, nullable: Search by email address
- `date_from` string, nullable: Start date (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `date_to` string, nullable: End date (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `query` string, nullable: Search query
- `thread_id` integer, nullable: Only this chat (search inside a conversation)
- `topic_id` integer, nullable: Only this forum topic (with thread_id)
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer
