# Unmerge Duplicate

`POST /api/contacts/duplicates/{duplicate_id}/unmerge`

Reverse a bad merge by recreating the deleted person.

This is a HEURISTIC operation that:
1. Creates a new person with the "other" name from the merge
2. Moves entities back based on channel matching
3. Marks the duplicate as 'unmerged'

Use this to fix false positive merges.
