# Get Thread Counts By Channel

`GET /api/channels/thread-counts`

Get thread counts grouped by channel.

Uses the `channel` column directly from the thread table instead of
parsing channel_ref. This makes the query channel-agnostic - adding
a new channel doesn't require modifying this endpoint.

Returns:
    Dict mapping channel name to thread count.
    Example: {"telegram": 214, "instagram": 74, "email": 2750}
