# Screen a person, company or vessel name against the US Treasury OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list AND its alias file - aliases matter, because a sanctioned party usually trades under an aka. Each match carries a deterministic score, the sanctions programme, and whether the hit was a primary name or an alias. The response lists which lists were searched and which were not: a name-similarity search, not a compliance determination.
