# Mark a steering message handled

`POST /api/steering-messages/{id}/handled`

Optionally accepts a JSON body `{ note?: string }` — a short acceptance note describing how the steering was incorporated, persisted as `handledNote`.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Steering message acknowledgement recorded

## Other responses

- `400` — Missing X-Agent-ID header or validation error
- `403` — Steering message task is assigned to another agent
- `404` — Agent or steering message not found
