# Send a dashboard telemetry event

`POST /api/telemetry/ui-event`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:3013`
- URL: `http://localhost:3013/api/telemetry/ui-event`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Relays one catalogued dashboard event (`popup.*`, `notification.*`, ...) through the API's telemetry client, so it carries the normal v2 envelope. Answers 204 without sending anything when telemetry is off.

  - `properties` object

## Response `204`

Accepted, or dropped because telemetry is off

## Other responses

- `400`: Unknown event or invalid properties
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Guest page sessions cannot send events
