# Create a model profile

`POST /api/model-profiles`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:3013`
- URL: `http://localhost:3013/api/model-profiles`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

A profile runs on one harness. `model` must run on that harness and be in the model catalog unless `allowCustomModel` is true (a gateway id, a fresh launch); a `latest:` alias is accepted and resolves at claim. `effort` must be a level the harness and model support. Operator only (the shared API key).
