# Update a model profile

`PATCH /api/model-profiles/{name}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:3013`
- URL: `http://localhost:3013/api/model-profiles/{name}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Changes the model, effort, custom-model flag or description; the name and harness are fixed. Omit a field to keep it; `effort: null` clears it. Applies to tasks claimed after the change. Operator only (the shared API key).
