# Delete a model profile

`DELETE /api/model-profiles/{name}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:3013`
- URL: `http://localhost:3013/api/model-profiles/{name}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Refused (409) for a shipped `<harness>-<tier>` seed (edit it instead; it would come back at the next boot), and while an agent has the profile as its default or a task holds it (unfinished, or superseded and still owed its resume). Operator only (the shared API key).

Profile deleted

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: No profile with that name
- `409`: The profile is a seed or still in use
