# Export a project

`POST /projects/{id}/export`

## Request

Counts against the workspace's monthly export allowance.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- ExportRequest
  - `imageHosting` boolean: true: the HTML points at hosted images. false: a ZIP with the images and fonts inside.
  - `cdn` boolean: Serve hosted images from a CDN (Pro plan).
  - `minify` boolean: Minified markup.
  - `format` 'json' | 'html': With image hosting: the HTML inside a JSON body, or the raw HTML.
  - `variables` object: Placeholder values to fill in, for example {"{{first_name}}": "Alex"}. Placeholders left out stay as they are.

## Response `200`

With imageHosting true: the HTML, as JSON or raw depending on format. With imageHosting false: a ZIP with the HTML, images and fonts.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The workspace's plan doesn't include a requested option.
- `404`: No such project or folder in this workspace.
- `422`: Invalid request body.
- `429`: Rate limit or monthly export allowance reached.
