# List environment variables

`GET /projects/{project_id}/environment_variables`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sg.deployhq.com`
- URL: `https://sg.deployhq.com/projects/{project_id}/environment_variables`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Returns all environment variables for the project, ordered by name. Variables can be scoped to the build pipeline or specific servers.

- `project_id` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: You are not authorized to access this resource. You need to authenticate yourself first.

- `500`: An unexpected error occurred on the server. The server was unable to process the request.
