# Agent account status + progress

`GET /api/agents/status`

## Request

Minimal consumable progress: account_status, graduation state, and the account's keys. `graduation.blocked_on` is the actionable field — "domain_proof" means the account must prove a domain, "gate_review" means it is verified but not graduated yet. Auth: agent keypair signature. OPEN even when suspended (so the agent can read the reason). Never exposes maturation dates or review specifics.

## Response `200`

Current status.

- AgentStatusResponse: Minimal consumable progress. Never exposes maturation dates or internal review details.
  - `response` object, required: Envelope.
    - `account_status` 'active' | 'suspended', required: Account state — "suspended" when the merchant is paused by the platform.
    - `reason` string: Human-readable suspension reason — present only when account_status is "suspended".
    - `graduated` boolean, required: true once the account has graduated to full production.
    - `graduation` object, required: Coarse graduation state: which side the ball is on, never the review specifics.
      - `blocked_on` 'domain_proof' | 'gate_review' | 'null', nullable, required: What graduation is waiting on. "domain_proof": the account is not verified yet and YOU act — prove a domain via POST /api/agents/verify-domain. "gate_review": verified, but graduation has not landed yet — it settles on its own, poll. null: already graduated. Deposit counts never appear here.
    - `keys` object[], required: The account's API keys (no plaintext — that is shown only at creation).
      - `id` string, required: Key id.
      - `prefix` 'sk_live_' | 'sk_test_', required: Key prefix.
      - `is_live` boolean, required: true for a production key.
      - `starter` boolean, required: true for the auto-issued starter key.
      - `scopes` string, required: Space-separated scopes.
      - `revoked_at` string, nullable, required: Revocation timestamp, or null if active.

## Other responses

- `401`: Signature chain failed or unknown agent key.
- `403`: Blocked (a suspended account still gets 200 with account_status "suspended").
- `429`: Rate limited (per-IP, per-key or per-merchant window). Retry after `retry_after` seconds (also in the Retry-After header).
- `503`: Nonce store unavailable (fail-CLOSED) OR the agent program is globally disabled (agents_disabled).
