# Creates a candidate access token.

`POST /api/candidates/access_tokens`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://getintoteachingapi-production.teacherservices.cloud` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://getintoteachingapi-production.teacherservices.cloud/api/candidates/access_tokens`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Finds a candidate matching at least 3 of the provided CandidateAccessTokenRequest attributes (including email). 
                If a candidate is found, an access token (PIN code) will be sent to the candidate email address 
                that can then be used for verification.

## Request body

- ExistingCandidateRequest
  - `firstName` string, nullable
  - `lastName` string, nullable
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `dateOfBirth` string, date-time, nullable
  - `reference` string, nullable

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
