# Save memory

`POST /memory`

## Request

Save a durable workspace memory fact.

## Request body

- object
  - `key` string, required: Stable memory key.
  - `kind` 'fact' | 'decision' | 'preference' | 'goal' | 'tool_note' | 'other' | 'convention' | 'project_context' | 'agent_lesson' | 'docs_knowledge' | 'open_goal', required: Memory classification.
  - `text` string, required: Memory body. No secrets or scratch notes.
  - `tags` string[]
  - `sensitivity` 'normal' | 'broad' | 'sensitive': Sensitivity tier; `sensitive` memories land in needs-review.
  - `visibility` 'user' | 'org': Who can see the memory. Defaults to `user`.
  - `projectId` string
  - `sourceQuote` string
  - `confidence` number
  - `importance` number
