# Get one date of an event

`GET /event/{id}/date/{date_id}`

## Response `200`

The event date.

- EventDateDetail: One date of an event, as `GET /event/{id}/date/{date_id}` returns it. `timestamp`, `datetime` and `zone` are always present here. An on-demand date is reported as playable now rather than as undated: its `status` is `running` and its `timestamp` is the moment you asked. Note that `datetime` is still formatted from the date's stored time, so for an on-demand date `datetime` and `timestamp` do not describe the same instant. Read `timestamp` if you need the answer this endpoint means.
  - `date_id` integer, required
  - `status` string, required: `on-demand` never appears here; an on-demand date reports `running`.
  - `timestamp` integer, required: When the date starts, as a Unix timestamp. For an on-demand date, the current time.
  - `datetime` string, required: The date's stored start time, formatted in its zone.
  - `zone` string, required: The date's IANA time zone.

## Other responses

- `401`: The credentials were missing or rejected.
- `403`: The account is not active, or the id in the path is not one your account may read. An id that does not exist answers here too, so the API does not reveal whether it exists.
- `404`: The event is yours, but the date is not on it. A date id you may not read answers `403` instead.
- `417`: The per-minute request rate or the account's daily API allowance was exceeded.
- `500`: Something failed on our side. The message is always generic; no internal detail is returned.
