# Add a Skill to a Job Role

`POST /api/v2/job-roles/add-skills`

This endpoint adds skills to a job role. <h3>Required Scope</h3>`job_roles:write`

    - `type` string: The resource type identifier for the job role skills assignment.
    - `attributes` Apiv2jobrolesaddskillsDataAttributes
      - `role-id` string, required: The ID of the job role to which the skills are being added.
      - `skills` Apiv2jobrolesaddskillsDataAttributesSkills[]: A list of skills to associate with the specified job role.
        - `type` string, required: The related resource type.
        - `id` string, required: The name of the skill.
        - `meta` Apiv2jobrolesaddskillsDataAttributesMeta: Metadata describing the relationship between the job role and the skill.
          - `target-level` integer: The target proficiency level expected for the skill.
          - `priority` integer: Indicates whether the skill is considered a priority for the organization (0 = not a priority, 1 = priority).
