# Check whether the pod is up and the engine inside is answering.

`GET /agents/{id}/liveness`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://agentspodium.com/api`
- URL: `https://agentspodium.com/api/agents/{id}/liveness`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Poll every 5 seconds after create, upgrade, an llm-key change, or a rebuild, until `serving` is true. `reachable && !serving` for more than a few minutes means broken — call POST /agents/{id}/rebuild.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

OK.

- Liveness
  - `reachable` boolean, nullable, required: The cluster says the pod exists and is ready. Null when there is no address yet.
  - `serving` boolean, nullable, required: An HTTP request to the pod's address returned something below 5xx. Null when the connection itself failed.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired, or revoked credential.
- `404`: No such agent, key, or persona for this account.
