# Export a document as markdown

`POST /documents.export`

## Request body

- object
  - `id` string — Unique identifier for the document. Either the UUID or the urlId is acceptable.

## Response `200`

OK

  - `data` string — The document content in Markdown formatting

## Other responses

- `401` — The API key is missing or otherwise invalid.
- `403` — The current API key is not authorized to perform this action.
- `404` — The specified resource was not found.
