# Get a notebook's app data

`GET /notebooks/{notebookId}/app-data`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.deepnote.com/v2`
- URL: `https://api.deepnote.com/v2/notebooks/{notebookId}/app-data`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the first `application/json` output and the agent block summary of the caller's own newest successful detached run of the notebook. Other users' runs are ignored.

## Path parameters

- `notebookId` string, required: Opaque notebook identifier.

## Response `200`

Notebook app data

- GetNotebookAppDataResponse
  - `appData` object, required: The first `application/json` output in the run.
  - `agentBlockSummary` string, nullable, required: Markdown summary the notebook's agent block wrote in the run.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error or project is suspended
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `404`: Notebook not found, no run by the caller, expired run results, or no JSON output
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
